We offer the production of bioreactors according to the customer's wishes. The bioreactor enables fully automated operation of all key processes that are part of the fermentation process. Other sub-processes of the bioreactor are also automated or partially automated: pressure test, sterilization, calibration.

MIXING

A wide range of mixing speeds (50 – 1500 rpm) provides ideal conditions for cultures in the bioreactor and minimizes deviations in sensor measurements from actual ones.

TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT AND REGULATION

With the help of very precise temperature sensors, we also achieve very precise temperature regulation (+/- 0.2°C). With an active cooling system (circulation of cold water from the water supply system), we achieve very precise regulation even at process temperatures around room temperature or below.

PH MEASUREMENT AND REGULATION

The bioreactor can correct any deviation in pH value. With the help of PID regulation and peristaltic pumps, acid or base is added to the vessel as needed, thereby achieving the best possible conditions for the cultures in the bioreactor.

FEEDING

The bioreactor also enables the so-called “fed-batch” process, which allows the nutrient to be supplied to the vessel over a certain period of time. The amount of supplied nutrient is thus determined according to a selected function (linear, power, exponential) or just a selected constant value and the initial and final values of the nutrient supply pump speed between two points. There can be any number of these points.

DISSOLVED OXYGEN

During the process, the bioreactor supplies a mixture of gases to the vessel as needed to achieve the optimal value of dissolved oxygen.

ANTI-FOAM

The antifoam system consists of a foam detector located in the tank at a desired height. When the foam height exceeds the sensor height, the system starts to deliver antifoam, which is dosed via a peristatic pump.

SCADA

All the described functions are controlled via a PLC controller. It is managed via a SCADA system. SCADA allows us to monitor the entire process in the bioreactor and adjust the conditions according to our wishes via input parameters.
