Gold award GZS for inovation Alkalizator-IntBas-Matej Petrič
The team of IntBas and Sartorius BIA Separations from Ajdovščina has received several awards for their continuous cell lysis instrument, the alkalizer, most recently the gold national award from the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia for the best innovation. Alkaline lysis is part of the process of isolating plasmid DNA (pDNA), which is a key ingredient in the production of biological drugs for gene and cell therapies and in the production of vaccines based on messenger RNA (mRNA) technology.
